Kratak opis organizacije:<\/strong> The MoStrip organization was founded by a few comics enthusiasts with the goal of promoting comics as a medium and branch of art, and to affirm and promote non-commercial cultural and artistic programs by organizing festivals and workshops for children, and well-designed and planned public and media relations campaigns. Through the work of our organization, we strive to remove comics from the cultural margins, where it is undeservedly find itself today. We want to introduce comics to young people, get them interested in it, and attract some older generations of readers back. The association was founded in 2015 in Mostar, out of the need to form a legal entity that would be the bearer of activities in the service of promoting and popularizing comics culture at the local and regional level. The main goals are:
\n\u2022\tgathering of citizens for the improvement of comics as an art,
\n\u2022\tpromotion of domestic comics authors and domestic comics,
\n\u2022\tconnecting comic collectors and fans of comic art,
\n\u2022\tpublishing the comics,
\n\u2022\tgeneral improvement of comics creation, and
\n\u2022\tstrengthening cultural, media and public interest in comics.
\nWe strive to achieve the goals through various activities and actions that improve and raise the level of comics culture as an art. Goals are achieved by conducting the following tasks:
\n\u2022\tInforming the public about comics as art
\n\u2022\tConnection and cooperation of individuals and different groups who love and respect the art of comics with the intention of forming a scene that would cover the area of comic art culture and interest of young people through the organization of cultural events, festivals and manifestations related to comics, which are held by members of the organization
\n\u2022\tOrganizing seminars, lectures, exhibitions, panels, conferences and similar events related to comics
\n\u2022\tCooperation with similar organizations and groups in Bosnia and Herzegovina and in the world
\n\u2022\tCollecting of comics editions, newspapers, comics related publications, comic works, and other documents and other materials related to comic creation, authors, cartoonists, screenwriters, editors and theorists of comics
\n\u2022\tConnecting comic fans and collectors
\n\u2022\tOrganizing various thematic workshops on the topic of comics, with an emphasis on young people and children
\n\u2022\tPrinting publications that refers to MOSTRIPs activities, such as comics, books, magazines, bulletins, newsletters,.), videos, CD-roms with topics related to the achievement of the goals of the organization and its activities, all in accordance with relevant legal regulations
