Kratak opis organizacije: Mostar TamburIzza Orchestra was founded in 2017. and gathers around 40 musicians, volunteers, mostly young, who play traditional plucked string instruments.
In summer 2025, Orchestra organized First International Music Festival in Mostar where over 100 tamburizza musicians, from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Montenegro, performed. This year Festival will be organizad in July with total of 7 concerts and 2 musical workshops.
We are, also, proud of our mini-festival “Music for All” aimed at bringing musical art closer to the people living in rural areas, especially children and youth.
Orchestra’s long lasting traditional Christmas concert is one of the most recognizable cultural events in Mostar.
So far, we have implemented a number of projects related to musical art and traditional heritage that were funded by national and international donors.
