Kratak opis organizacije: National Theater Tuzla, as a formal institution, was founded in March 1949. The formal establishment of the theater was preceded by the establishment of the drama section within the Mitar Trifunović Učo cultural and artistic society, which was founded a year before. With great effort and commitment, from the drama section, through the establishment of the National Theater, Tuzla got a professional theater house. In its 74 years of existence, the Tuzla National Theater has performed 502 premieres, in which hundreds of actors have played throughout the generations that have worked in this theater. National Theater Tuzla is the only professional theater in Tuzla Canton, and one of twelve professional theaters in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
